Whenever two or more people interact, an exchange of information naturally occurs. Our personal energy fields lean in with curiosity to see what can be found. Every day we communicate on some level with those around us. What a great time to check in with yourself and practice self-awareness. What is your contribution to the energy exchange?
Three types of basic energetic exchanges come to play during personal communications; neutral, energizing, and draining. When we’re neutral, we are able to look at, feel, and respond to others without a ripple in our energy field. During a draining exchange, a subtle or not so subtle level of aggression may emerge in the form of resistance, conflict, and/or rigidity. At energizing, we remain curious, authentic, and engaged.
During your next conversation, it may be fun to see where you are. Does your end of the exchange leave you feeling neutral, energized, or drained? Pay attention to the words you use, the actions you take, and your own feelings as the interaction progresses. If the other person’s energy field is draining, are you able to maintain your field at energized? Stay curious and notice yourself without judgment. Then smile and say, “That was fun!”

Our mind is centered and under our direction, we have a new idea growing, now let’s watch the fun begin. The art of letting go really is the heart in the Law of Attraction.
Letting go has many synonyms; faith, hope, trust, confidence, belief. The big difference though is that “letting go” infers disattachment to outcome. Greta lived in a small home with her son, Theo. Every time she passed by Theo’s small room overflowing with toys, she would think, “A loft would be so nice in here.” Greta didn’t have any emotional attachment to giving her son a loft. She didn’t feel like a bad mom, she didn’t feel Theo was deprived, she didn’t form her personal happiness around the idea of putting a loft in her son’s room. She simply liked the idea. This positive thought went on for a couple of months in its purest of form. Then, Greta received a call from Anne. Anne was an artist looking to give away a castle loft she designed for her grandkids. She wanted to pass it along to another child who would love it as much. Theo now sleeps in a castle bed high above the ground every night. Greta passes by his room and is grateful.
Letting go may be the most challenging part in the Law of Attraction, especially when money or loved ones are involved. A first step may simply be to set the intention, “I let go of the outcome and know I will be provided for.”

Once you’ve read the book being written in your mind, it’s time to evaluate. Are your thoughts above the line and supportive of your “lights on” vision? If not, create a new thought or write a new plot.
NPR’s, Car Talk, recently took a call from a man having a disagreement with his wife. His wife wanted a newer, safer Cadillac, rather than the twenty-year-old Volvo she’d been driving. The man didn’t think a newer car was necessary, then proceeded to list off every accident his wife had ever been in. “We’ll get her a new car, but she’ll just end up running it into something.” No doubt both he and his wife have spent lots of time with a “car destruction” belief going through their heads. Perhaps the woman could refocus her idea about herself to create a new storyline. Then share it with her husband until he understands it. “Cadillacs are safe cars and only safe driver’s own them. Therefore, I am a safe driver.” She can stop the thought that creates repetitive behavior patterns, by instead refocusing on something she’d rather experience.
You are in charge and can alter your life. Start by observing where your thoughts are, then lead them to the outcome you wish to have. Setbacks happen, the important part is to notice when you’ve lost your editorial position over the book being written in your mind, then regain seniority.

When we read a book, we may get emotionally involved with the plot, characters, and setting, but at the end of the day, it’s just a book. It may linger in our thoughts for a short spell, but we’re still able to continue about our life. Observing our inner dialog is much like reading a book. Noticing what your own book is about is simply observing where your mind takes you.
The Law of Attraction begins as a seed of thought in your mind; a word in your book. The more attention you give a singular thought, the more magnetic it grows. Gain seniority over the flow of thoughts, dreams, and inspirations pulsating through your head. Without any judgment or self-criticism, observe the threads of thought going through your mind. Where is your plot headed and what patterns do your characters keep repeating? Is the setting to your liking – from your dreams?
Unlike an actual book, your mind is fluid. You can change it at any moment. But before changing your thoughts, you must first be aware of what they are and where they’re going. Take inventory and just see what you find.

The post holiday season has arrived. Family, festivities, good food, and high emotions have been stored in our memory. Coming down from all this energetic fervor may create a feeling of loss, drainage, and/or depression. Have the winter blues found their way into your field?
The fact that we use the term “winter blues,” confident most readers understand the concept, is very telling. We hear it repetitively during this time of year and may even have a personal relationship with it. If it keeps showing up in the same way at the same time, it’s a pattern. Observe your inner dialog, what thoughts, ideas, and attitudes run through your mind? Having the blues indicates low emotions. Try consciously noticing any negative self-talk patterns contributing to these blues. Then with awakened awareness, change your mind or turn them off. “I feel so lonely, why isn’t anyone calling me,” can become, “I choose to feel free, my schedule is opening up. I choose to have me-time before it vanishes.” By changing your perspective about a thing, you change the thing.
Giving little space and little attention to the negative self talk, helps decrease it. Combat your winter blues by refocusing the inner discussion from negative to positive. Celebrations, cheers, and gratitude are all out there. Find them, notice them, and invite them into your internal discussion.

“One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began, though the voices around you kept shouting their bad advice…but little by little as you left their voices behind. The stars began to burn through the sheets of clouds. And there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own, as you strode deeper and deeper into the world. Determined to do the only thing you could do” – Mary Oliver, Author and Poet.
As you begin to follow your vision, it is natural to begin to share your dream with others. Gaining feedback is a natural part of the energetic operating system. People around you begin to give you advice and the words “you should, if I were you, and good idea/bad idea” begin to enter your near field. As you listen, you may begin to notice that you feel drained or irritable by the advice being given. Pay attention to these moments as they are clues indicating detours in your path. A detour is defined by a divergence from an intended route, usually caused by well meaning advice or opinion rather than feedback. When advice is given that leaves you feeling drained, you have received opinion rather than feedback. To regain the action around your vision, seek out someone in your sphere that provides you with positive feedback. You will see it clearly because that person will suspend judgment, opinion and advice and will begin to speak words that light you up. You have found an ally that uses an energetic operating system rather than an analytical operating system.
When you find that the feedback around you begins to drain your energy, return to your vision and refocus your energy. Stop and take time to find a person who is willing to be your mirror and ask them to give you accurate feedback on what really lights you up as you speak. Take note of the feedback. When you encounter “friendly advice,” do not take it personally. Remember that well meaning people often use their own fears and worries to protect you, which will keep you from realizing your own vision.

With the recent terrorist bombings in Moscow, it is important to remember that we can make a difference in the world. Think about peace, and what it means to you. Reflect on the message of peace that we embrace as a society. Peace is a choice, and that ultimately the power to create peace in our world rests in our moment-by-moment choices for peace: the choice to be open and tolerant.
This belief has been challenged and tested many times. While we cannot change the world overnight, according to Dr. Hawkins, one person holding positive energy of 500 Mhz of conscious, positive thought can counterbalance 750,000 people below 200. Believe in people’s light, not their darkness and we will change the world.

Using these principles, you can begin to live with CLARITY today!
C – Clear Vision – Every journey is best guided by having a vision for what you want to create.
L – Live Lights-On – It’s critical that you are always aware of your energy and do whatever is needed to shift your focus and behaviors to having lights- on energy in all that you do.
A – Aligned Action – Don’t remain caught up in doing busy work that drains your energy. Focus every day on taking aligned, lights-on action steps toward your vision.
R – River Map/River Guide – Your journey is best served if you follow a map or a guide to help you negotiate the difficult places, avoid the dangers, keep you pointed in the right direction and in the flow.
I – Intention – To manifest the life you want or to create any experience you want requires that you set your clear intention before you begin.

The Daily Check In process is designed to allow you to focus on self, giving you an opportunity to focus your day towards the outcome you desire. Take fifteen minutes per day to ask yourself this series of questions. Remember to keep the focus completely on your personal field, your performance, what has served you well and what has not.
Step 1: Ask yourself what is different. Every moment, change is occurring. If you can feel a change, ask how it is different.
Step 2: Ask yourself what has worked and what didn’t work. We call this exercise the Whoops Review (link). It works like a game film review of your performance. Look at the past 24 hours and review the facts. Self criticism is not the focus of this exercise, but simply an opportunity to look at your performance and identify areas for improvement.
Step 3: Check your personal energy field.
- What is the state of your mind? Are you foggy, alert, distracted, focused? (link)
- What is the state of your body? Are you comfortable, tight, flexible? (link)
- What is the state of your sprit? Are you light, happy, curious? (link) Remember that your spirit is rarely depressed. This is a state of mind. Almost always, your spirit is enlightened.
Step 4: What are your grateful for? Stating your gratitude keeps you focused on what is working instead of focusing on what is not.
Step 5: What is your intention for the day? Do you have an objective or an impact that will serve as your purpose for the day? Your intention can be as simple as an objective of happiness.
Building these fifteen minutes into your daily routine will give you the power to be proactive in your life rather than reactive.

Everyday, we are faced with decisions that affect our lives. In the Clarity process, we call these decisions “choice points” and the decisions that you make create your reality. Choice points occur from moment to moment, like being at a crossroad and deciding to take one path over another. Approaching these choice points in your life with awareness is essential when manifesting your true path.
Choice points are actually divergent channels which appear to create an opportunity to explore different opportunities within your life. I love when a new choice point appears because it gives me an opportunity to learn. Remember:
1. Every decision that you make is a choice point.
2. Your choices create your reality
3. Choose passion over patterns.
Once you realize that you are facing a choice point, be sure to approach the decision with your lights on. Ask yourself “Am I in service to my dreams?’ If the answer is “I am in service to my patterns,” take a longer look at the decision you are about to make. Listen to all of the input and make certain that you take responsibility for making your own choices. Make conscious decisions that are in service to your nature and the path to Clarity endures.
